We pretend to ignore the truth, but society has unconsciously set its ideals of what the perfect woman should look like. Women have enough reasons to feel insecure without having to compare themselves to Hollywood celebrities, runway models, and beauty queens. However, perfection shouldn't have to be measured against unrealistic role models that don't exist in the real world.
While there are those who feel pressured to measure up to these standards, it's unfair to presume that everyone who is considering cosmetic surgery, such as a breast englargement, is only trying to meet those same standards.
Every woman has the right to feel beautiful on the inside, and as we all well know, not all women were designed the same way. It's not wrong for women to just want to look "normal", if not sexy and beautiful.
Whether it's rhinoplasty to correct a deviated septum or it's a breast enlargement procedure for a breast cancer patient, women have the right to be treated the same way as their peers. Too often, society considers that a woman who is getting a "boob job" is only doing it to meet those ridiculous standards set by society. But really, we are all judging those who look different, and maybe a woman is only having a procedure done, such as cosmetic surgery UK, so that she doesn't stand out from everyone else.
So don't be too quick to judge your friend, co-worker, or family member who is considering a cosmetic procedure, like breast augmentation or enhancement, because it might not just be vanity--you might not understand the real reasons behind that important decision. |
